David Lin (or DL) grew up in the Durham/Chapel Hill area and attended UNC-Chapel Hill. There, he earned a degree in Journalism and Political Science but spent most of his time as a Young Life leader serving students at Riverside High School . He moved to Greensboro in 1996 to work on the Young Life staff and was involved in starting Young Life at Northwest High School, as well as leading at Ragsdale High School.
After several years working in marketing and graphic design, DL felt God's call back into vocational ministry and joined the staff of Christ Community in the fall of 2002. He feels that it is an awesome privilege and blessing to shepherd middle and high school students through building relationships and sharing lives together.
DL and his wife, Rhonda, have three children: Jennings (5), Sarah Mackenzie (4) and Walker (1). He enjoys playing and writing music, anything involving sports, watching movies with his wife and spending time with his daughters.
