A Congregational Meeting has been called by the Session for Sunday, May 18 to ask the congregation to concur with the request of the Rev. Todd Jones to release him from his call as Associate Pastor of Christ Community Church in order to plant a church. The meeting will begin immediately following the 9:30 service. After voting, the meeting will recess and then reconvene following the 11:00 service. We urge all members to attend this important, but brief, meeting on May 18.
Youth Yard Sale Fundraiser!!!! On Saturday, June 7th, we will be having a yard sale at Billy and Amy Chamblee's House for a fundraiser for the youth mission trip to Haiti in July. We are looking for any and everything you'd like to donate to our sale! We'd also love for you to come shopping! If you have any questions, email Ashley. -Sunday, May 18th - We will be collecting stuff at the end of the D-wing after both services.

"Men Singing Their Faith 3" - Sunday, May 18--You are invited to attend the 3rd annual program of 4 area churches coming together to sing God's praise. The men's choruses from Guilford Park Presbyterian, Providence Baptist, Korean First Presbyterian, and Christ Community will be singing together at 4:00 p.m. on May 18 in the fellowship hall at CCC. There will be a speaker from Greensboro Urban Ministry and an offering taken to benefit the ministry. A reception will follow. This is a community event, so please invite friends and neighbors.
Men and Boys Lead with Character Summer Excursion - MEN and boys (8 yrs old and up). You're invited to a summer excursion- Thursday, June 19 to Saturday, June 21. A bus tour to Gettysburg, Sharpsburg, and Lexington. This trip is about fun, history, leadership and character. The cost is $245 per person, includes lodging, transportation, and some meals. VBS - June 23rd - 27th - 9am - 12noon - "Power Lab" - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power. Can you feel the VBS excitement in the halls at CCC? Well, it is happening! Heather Witte has graciously accepted the position of the Director of VBS '08. There is nothing better in the summer than a week of VBS at CCC.
