DANIEL & ESTHER
Facilitator:  Jim Osborne, Brad Waters and Jonathan Douglas
Room: D120-122
Cost:  None
Target Audience:  Open to all

Looking at the instability of the world: the political situations, international terrorism, Iraq, to mention a few, we ask: "Where is God?" "Am I safe?" "How can I make an impact for God in this kind of world?" This class will look at a special man taken from his homeland by an enemy army and made a servant of the King of mighty Babylon. His name is Daniel and we will do a character study of this amazing man and his amazing God. We will also study the strong character of a beautiful Jewish woman, Esther, who became queen of Persia and trusted God for His plan and amazing providence that saved all the Jews in the nations. You will see that God's sovereignty and grace as your Savior and Lord is enough in this crazy world we live in.

Raising children is a tough challenge in today's world. Peers and pop culture exert a never-ending pressure on kids. Many come from split homes. Bu the good news is that God has been working with people from defective situations for a long time! Chip Ingram speaks in 30 minute video segments how God's biblical principles still work today. He shares his personal experiences as a father who faced teenage rebellion and other challenges. Packed with practical advice, this series will give parents a vision for their children's future and life-changing help for today! This course is a follow up to the Effective Parenting Conference on January 12 and includes a work book for each student

The GOSPEL OF MARK
Facilitator:  Jim Simpson
Room: D131-133
Cost:  None
Target Audience:  Open to all

Is Jesus able to be there and touch our lives in the hectic pace we keep? John Mark wrote this first account of the story of the gospel of Jesus to the secular and Christian world of the first century Romans. The words "at once or immediately" occur over 40 times giving almost a PowerPoint slide show of encounters with Jesus in the fast pace life of the Romans. Join us for this discussion and media class designed to see the same Jesus touch us in the busyness of our daily experience
