In small groups, men can build genuine relationships and grow in their faith. Men study together, encourage one another, pray with and for each other, and find the unique fellowship of Christian fraternity. Groups meet at various times and locations and are lead by men who have been through a Small Group Leaders Training, which is offered twice a year (the next will be held in September, 2008). Men are encouraged and equipped to live out their faith in several types of groups, such as study, affinity, support, task and accountability groups.
At CCC there are currently 8 men's small groups. Morning groups are available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with start times of 6:30 or 7:00 AM. Evening groups are available on Monday or Wednesday. Some of the books that are currently being studied are Running on Empty, Wild at Heart, The Gospel of Mark, Galatians, and Ephesians.
